This website

The site is made of fixed pages served straight from our own server. There is no Google Analytics, no ad network and no tracking pixel. We do not load fonts from an outside party: your browser uses a typeface already on your device. So your visit does not pass through a third party. The only exceptions are the request form and the contact form; see below.

Your browser does remember your language choice, so you need not pick again next time. That is not a cookie and it goes nowhere: it stays in your own browser and we cannot read it. Clear this site’s data in your browser and it is gone.

Like any web server, ours records which pages are requested. We use those logs to find faults and outages.

The request form

When you request a demo licence you fill in three things: your company name, your name and your email address. They go straight to our own system, which uses them to create your trial account and licence right away and emails you the login details. We do not sell or share them, and you will not end up on a newsletter you did not ask for.

To prevent abuse, the form uses Google reCAPTCHA. Together with the contact form, that is the only place on this site where an outside party is involved, and only from the moment you start filling in the form: Google then sees, among other things, your IP address and details about your browser, and judges whether you are human. Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to that.

In addition, our system keeps track for one day of how many requests come in per email address, per company domain and per IP address, so nobody can create trial accounts endlessly.

The contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, you fill in your name, your email address and your message, and if you like your company name and phone number as well. It arrives on our own server and is stored there, so no message gets lost. We are notified through Microsoft Teams or by email, with what you filled in. We use your details only to answer your question: we do not sell or share them and do not put you on a mailing list.

To prevent abuse, the contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA, in the same way as the request form above. In addition, the server keeps track for fifteen minutes of how many messages come in per IP address, notes in its log which IP address a message came from, and checks whether the domain of your email address can receive mail.

We keep your message for as long as we need it to handle your question and to look back on it if you follow up. If you would like us to delete it sooner, an email is enough.

Chat and remote support

The ‘Chat with us’ button and the session code field on the support page use ISL Online, which runs on our own server (support.alexion.nl). Nothing is sent there until you click the button yourself. The chat then opens a window on that server, which also receives the page you are chatting from, so we can see what your question is about. What you type in the chat reaches someone at Alexion.

With a session code, someone at Alexion can look along on your screen remotely. That only works with a code we give you over the phone, and only if you start the connection yourself.

What you can ask of us

You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. An email to info@alexion.nl is enough; we usually reply the same working day. If we cannot resolve it together, you can turn to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Your data inside Alexion CRM

This policy covers the website. If you use Alexion CRM as a customer, the data processing agreement and its standard clauses apply. You will find those with our terms and conditions.
